Poplar High School Music had a strong showing this weekend in Wolf Point at the District Music Festival. The Band got many great comments from the judges and did exception on the sight singing portion. The choir also did extremely well with their pieces and sight singing. The high points of the weekend were Raven Mathison receiving Superior ratings for his trombone and vocal solos. Superior ratings move on to states. Superior ratings were also granted to both the drumline that meets during school and the one that meets after school. Next week both drumlines and Raven will be heading to Billings to perform for judges at the State level. This is an extremely high level to perform at and a great honor! Congrats to all the musicians!
